CRIMINAL MINDS VALENTINES DAY QUESTION:
Lets play a game while we wait for our Criminal Minds episode tonight. If I gave you $100 to go Valentines Day shopping with: Would you buy a gift for Mandy Patinkin, Matthew Gray Gubler, Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore, Kirsten Vangsness, A.J. Cook or Paget Brewster? What would the gift be and why would you choose that particular gift?

I would buy a special sweater for Matthew so I could be wrapped around him. Something to match his personality. I would decorate the box with drawings I made so it would be unique like him. I would hand make the card because I think he would like it better than store bought and I would tell him that I think he is great and I love Spencer Reid.
This is so hard and I am going to be so selfish. I would send Shemar a really nice card and a single rose and beg him to meet me for a drink or two (which I would pay for). Why would I pick this gift? hah. Because the man is beautiful and it would be the perfect VD day.
I would buy a cup for Paget Brwester because I'm the only one here who loves her and she takes some pretty rough hits from you folks! I think she's fabbo, but I like you girls and your opinions and ideas even more! I would love to go shopping with Garcia, though, because I'm Way Too Concervative and I get the feeling she'd talk me into something crazy that I'd wind up loving.
I would buy the book "Great American Jewish Performers" and I would mail it to all my friends around the world so they could write a note inside to Mandy (who is mentioned in the book) and then I would send it to him. I would include a card telling him that I admire his acting, stage work, singing and the enormous community service work he does. Whatever money I had left from the $100 I would use to buy a bottle of wine for him and his lovely wife Kathryn to share together on Valentines Day. :)
This is easy. I would spend it in a vintage clothing shop in the square down from my flat. I would wrap the giftie in bright neon yellow wrapping and send it to Kirsten V. with her name spelt out in pixie sticks on the top. Why? Because who is more fun than her?
I would buy Mandy something for his train set--he is a big collector and has a huge train set-up in his apartment that his whole family worked on.
I know it would be Shemar and I would buy satin pj's, and a personal massage ( I buy the massage kit to perform this myself) and candy kisses. I know he would love that.
Well, I think that I would buy a commuter airplane ticket for Matthew to fly back home to New York from L.A.... But guess who would be in the seat next to it for the 2hr flight? Hey its valentines for me to right?
I would send roses to the studio for all of them with a card with my warmest wishes. I am boring. Sorry.

It would be so hard to choose -- I love them all, so ...
I would buy many pounds of the most exquisite coffee I could find and send it to the writers.
Because they probably get ignored, and because we want them awake, alert and creative to make more great scripts for all our favorites, and mostly because "if it ain't on the page, it ain't on the stage."
Love Lin's idea and she is so right but I am going to take the money and buy wild flowers and send them to MGG because he is wild and out there and I think he might appreciate it and then I will buy a card and send it to the writers because Lin is really right and they get left out and who is more important than them. Then I will use the last of the money to send you a card Jill because you are the best and we love you to pieces. Everyone in my office knows about you and your blog.
I would spend it all on gummie bears and send them to KV because she seems like a gal who would appreciate gummie bears.
My wife would probably spend it on Gibson but I will have to ask her what she would buy when she gets home from the office.
I think I would spend half on treating Prentiss to dinner to chat with her...to help her feel more welcome. (I hurt when I see people excluded or sometimes ignored by others.)
Then...the other half would be to treat the team to a big box of See's Candy!!!
Jen, I like Padget Brewster, too. She's direct and assertive. I would like to be more that way. She could lighten her hair some, tho' to get rid of the Morticia look. Anyhow, I would shop for Shemar. I would buy him underwear which he could model for me. OOOHHH!
I would give him my awesome tie with x-mas cows all over it( even though its valentines) id get For MGG ! Because it reminds me of him.
I would buy MGG some better shoes, as his mother must cringe every time she sees pictures of him wearing falling apart sneakers.
And I would buy TG a very fancy toothbrush as he has a lovely smile and we need to see it more often.
And if I had any money left over, I would buy Kirsten some long brightly coloured beads as I'm sure she would love to swish them around.
Easy-pesy, I would buy me a plane ticket and then swoop down and kidnap Thomas Gobson because Im crazy and he's HAWT!!! Yes, I am a nutter, but hey! Or I would fly myself over there, talk to everyone, snoop in the writers room, annoy the directers, THEN steal Thomas! hehe, I'll stop now! :P

I would buy a hot pink boa for Kirsten, a wildly patterned scarf for Matthew, an elegant hair clip for A.J., a wine goblet for Paget, and Thomas and Mandy would get picture frames for pics of their kids for their dressing rooms. My main man Shemar would get me. I am free and available anytime and anywhere he says. The man is a gift from the Gods.
My gift would be to Matthew Gray gubler aka Spencer Reid... I would buy him:
1-socks( that are mixed - no same)
2-badmontin set(since he loves badmoton)
3-few ties(for him to add to his collection)
4- peanuts( his favourite food)
5- few of his faourite movie.....all of that would be in one box ... and the money left over would be used for the bill of the lunch...that Matthew and i will have...:-D...thats money well spend....*sigh*
Tulips in all the colors available for A.J. because she is so classy and tulips are more special than roses this time of year so she would know that I made a real effort and then I would ask her for a date or her hand in marriage. If she answers yes to either one then I am a winner.
An expensive bottle of wine for Mandy. I adore him. Listening to him sing puts joy into my heart.
I would have to choose Shemar for my valentine. And the gift? - 100 dollar bills with 100 reasons on the back of why I am crazy about him. Ahem, I mean his acting skills! (LOL)

And the gift would be a necklase
that has a two hearts together...
one with her name and the other with Nathan's name(her husband)
Because Nathan & A.J have been together since like for ever and I
think it'd be cute for her to wear a cute Heart necklase...it'd look pretty on her!
Or maybe just a necklase with a heart!
I would send baskets of mini muffins to the studio for them all to share and a card telling them we all admire their work very much.
Of course I will be spending my money on MGG. I think I would take him out for a nice dinner at a super quaint restaurant where no one will bother him then head back to his Apt. and sip delicious coffee while watching the sun come up togheter. Then "poof" I would disappear Cinderella style and leave him to bask in a super relaxed glow.

I come here all the time and this is the first time I have actually said anything in comment form.
I think I would Probably send Matthew Grey Gubler a picture I drew of him in the first season. (No im not some obsessed stalker, he is easy to draw and he has a nice face.) Id frame it and send it with a silly hat just because I think he would like that.

Well, I think I would figure out a bar next to the set and invite them to a little "after-work-party". Just some beer and snacks and some niiiiiice chatting of course.

I would make a nice card expressing my admiration of all their talent. Then I would donate the money to MS Research in all their names and in honor of Shemar.
I am new here and to the show but I want to play:
I don't know the actors very well but I would spend the money on a group present for all of them. Maybe some nice candies or flowers.
I'd send the same present to all the series regulars. Just to show how truly obsessed I am, I'd find every single song used prominently in the show (both seasons!) and download them onto personalized CDs. (Even if it's not legal; I'm willing to even risk prison for my favorite actors!)
In addition, I'd find every single quote used and make handmade scrapbooks showing quotes, scrapbooky art stuff, and photos (probably also illegally obtained) for each actor.
My name and phone number would be prominently displayed so MGG can call me to say thanks. Or maybe show up at my door and grab me around the waist [g]. I'd also be willing to take AJ for a lovely walk with my collie so she can get over her new fear of dogs.
I would send Mandy a pair of New Balance sneakers so everytime he wore them in an episode I could kvell about him wearing my gift.

Sorry I am going to break the rules and spend my money on Lola. I would buy her a silk scarf and send her a card telling her how much we appreciated her hard work and that we miss her very much on the show. Celeste

I will lounge in the pedicure area, large cushions and satin throw pillows. Lola will recieve a pedicure, including a foot soak with peppermint and an invigorating foot and calf massage. Breath of Milk and Honey pedicure with her feet in hot milk and honey!!
I'll buy some crazy coffee drinks, leaning towards cinnamon dolce latte and we visit. Then they will wrap her feet in heated booties, moisturizing agents to heal and sooth her feet, and then....
I would buy red hots for the whole cast because season two is on fire and they rock!
I would take the money and donate it to a charity in their names. I think they would like that. The all seem so well grounded.

I would send Kirsten smores. Lots of smores. I know she would share them with the rest of the cast but I would send them to her and tell her I really love her work. I would also thank her for showing the world that you do not have to be pencil thin to make it the entertainment business. I am a drama major and my weight has always been a major worry for me but she is so beautiful and talented and it gives me true confidence and hope.
SHEMAR MOORE WOULD JUST GET ME AND MOORE OF ME...LOL THE $100, WELL, THAT WOULD JUST COVER THE WHIPPED CREAM AND STRAWBERRIES..LOL
I would send personalized m & m candies with "criminal minds" printed on them from the Hershey Company.
Marshmellows. I would buy $100 worth of the colored marshmellows and I would send them to the whole cast. Or coconut snowballs. Something fun like that because they probably could use something fun on the set after acting in those heart wrenching scenes.
I will need to think about it but it would be a group gift because they are all great.
I would buy mandy the ultmaitme gift ,a lovley painting of his wife and sons and himself,so he could hang it in his office at home
that is a tough question. I would definitely have to say I'd buy something for Matthew. he is definitely my favorite of the actors because he is such a unique person. he really doesn't let anyone else define him. because of this, and because of his obsession with wearing mismatched socks, I would most likely either buy a great load of woal and just knit him a whole boat load of socks in which no two would be remotely alike or I would find a place to make them for me. I would feel a lot like Dobby from Harry Potter, but I know he'd appreciate it.
